Meet Peppa Pig

We are so lucky that we don't live far away from the Yorkshire Wild Life Park. Last year we all got a year pass so we could go anytime. They are in the middle of doing it up and i must say its looking gd so far. We took a trip today as the fames Peppa Pig was going to be there and in are family we have watched many of her shows. Sometime wanting to throwing the dvd out the window.
It was a sunny day so i decided to try my new sunglasses out but two little boys tested them out for me first.

 Mum did not come as her back has been pretty bad at the mo and there is a lot of walking round you have to do.

I was not really impressed with Peppa Pig all she was doing is shacking kids hands and hugging them . it would of been nice if the had a photo area where they could have photos with her. I guess when your young you don't care as long as you see her.

                                         Trying to take a selfie of us all was a bit of fun

 I did not really take loads of pics of the animals this time but here is a cute pic of a monkey you can get really close to them. I stood back when the keeper said they do bit.
 I love seeing new baby animals and there was three new camels. My fave animal has to be the giraffe  i love going to see them and u can get really close to them. On time i never had one licking my hand tried to get dad to take a pic but he missed it.

Barncastle

This past week i had the great pleasure in spending the weekend with eight women for a crafty weekend.  This was going to be a big thing for me for so many reasons
1. I did not know anyone part from Kirsty and Rubina.
 2. I was going to be staying away with out my Mum and Dad.
We were the first people to arrive and after we did find it this is the view from the front of the house.

After waiting a bit the lovely Rubina rolled up in Max her red little beetle. After having a look around a picking r rooms i started getting all my craft stuff in the house and i mean i over did it a bit lol The lady who rents the cottage out to us left  a gorgeous victoria sponge for us which went down really well.

On Sat i took a trip with Rubina to Tetbury. She wanted to go to this Indian shop which sold bits of clothes, rugs and other bits from India. Everything in the shop wiz all hand made as well. I ended up buying a little journal and purse. Had to have a little giggle at Rubina on the way back as we had to stop in a lay-by so she could take a picture of oil seed rape field. I then sat in the car taking a picture of her lol
On Sunday Kirsty asked if anyone wanted to go for a walk round the block with her so me and Sarah said yes. Well Kirstys little walk turn out into an adventure.
We ended up following a public walk sign but some how got lost need up having to go through a field of cows which had a bull in scary. Well we walked along the field and the only way to cross wiz this large fallen tree. It felt a bit like the seen in dirty Dancing but we did not stay on it to dance lol
It was sad to have to say good bye to everyone i made some great friends who i hope will be around for life. We talking about doing it again in October so i can't wait.

Here we are making a friendship star.

Twas night before Christmas.

  'Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro' the house,
 Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
 The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
 In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
 The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
 While visions of sugar plums danc'd in their heads,
 And Mama in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
 Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap-
 When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
 I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
 Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters, and threw up the sash.
 The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow,
 Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below;
 When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
 But a minature sleigh, and eight tiny rein-deer,
 With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
 I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
 More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
 And he whistled, and shouted, and call'd them by name:
 "Now! Dasher, now! Dancer, now! Prancer, and Vixen,
 "On! Comet, on! Cupid, on! Dunder and Blixem;
 "To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
 "Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"
 As dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky;
 So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
 With the sleigh full of Toys - and St. Nicholas too:
 And then in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
 The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
 As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
 Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound:
 He was dress'd all in fur, from his head to his foot,
 And his clothes were all tarnish'd with ashes and soot;
 A bundle of toys was flung on his back,
 And he look'd like a peddler just opening his pack:
 His eyes - how they twinkled! his dimples how merry,
 His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry;
 His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
 And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;
 The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
 And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
 He had a broad face, and a little round belly
 That shook when he laugh'd, like a bowl full of jelly:
 He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
 And I laugh'd when I saw him in spite of myself;
 A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
 Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
 He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
 And fill'd all the stockings; then turn'd with a jerk,
 And laying his finger aside of his nose
 And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose.
 He sprung to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
 And away they all flew, like the down of a thistle:
 But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight-
 Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Dont you just love that christmas poem. Tonight we have been into the village for the chrsitmas carol service which happens every year in the centre of the village. It is a gd turn out of people but this year it was frezzing cold. Just as we left are house mum could not stop coughing with the cold air so it was decided that she and Dad would stay at home.
When we got home Mum had made us all hot choclate with marshmellow and we all got a new sack filled with chrsitmas eve Pj's. The boys got so excited and we had to put them on right away.
 After putting are new pj's on we sat down to watch The snowman and the snowdog. Every year i always get the boys a build the bear and this year i got them the snowdog. So when we were watching the film i gave them the dogs when that bit of the film came on. When they squeezed its paw it says Merry Christmas (boys name) I love you to the moon and back.
 We could not forget to put the mince pie and homemade cookies out for Santa and a carrot for Rudolph. I think you can understand why Santa is round.

Three more sleeps

I can't believe we only have three more sleeps left till the big man comes to see us. The boys are getting really excited now. The Boothman clan are once again coming to spend Christmas with us which is great. The best part is seeing the boys faces in the morning now we would not see that if they stayed at home.

Today we went to the local garden centre to have breakfast with the big man. It was not really how I thought it would be ie that he did not have breakfast he came after. Also they had an entertainer on before breakfast so by the time he finished we were all hungry. I don't think we will do it again but both boys enjoyed it and that's the most important thing.

 Buddy and Holly came with us. I think they are missing Santa a little.

 Meeting the big man himself in his grotto woz great fun

4 Today

Its Archie's 4th Birthday today I can still remember when Em and G gave us a Christmas card say Auntie to be. I got it but it took Mum a few mins to realise what it ment. We were aall over the moon and could not wait for him to arrive. Now he is turning 4 and i dont know where these 4 years have gone.He is growing up to be an amazing little boy. He is so clever with his numbers and shapes some of the shapes he comes out with i don't even know.

Here are a few pictures i took of him on his birthday. Coming down the stairs with his birthday balloon. I did not catch him with four things so got five instead.
Archie loves lego and he wanted a number four cake so this is what Em came up with.
i made this banner for him as you can see its based around Lego.
He got so much lego so i was assigned to make this Chima monster. I must admit i do have fun making them.
